Catering Assistant/Food Service Assistant

• Early morning and early afternoon shifts (3 to 7 hours )

Altara Personnel is a casual hospitality staffing agency supplying to the hospitality, aged care and allied healthcare industries. As we are currently expanding our services to New South Wales we are is looking for experienced CATERING ASSISTANTS and FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANTS to be part of this exciting journey

What can you expect working with Altara People:

• Support, flexibility understanding and guidance
• Suitable placements aligned to your capabilities
• Tasks may include basic food preparation, plating and serving meals, dishwashing and general cleaning.
• Understanding of basic food standards ie IDDSI can be provided by Altara.

What do we expect from you:

• Minimum of 12 months kitchen experience is required, ideally in the aged care or allied health sector
• Integrity and honesty
• Clear communication and Reliability
• A current National Police Check
• A Nationally Certified Food Handling Certificate
• COVID Vaccination certificate including booster
• Respect for our Altara Clients and our Altara operations team.
