Focusing on the treasurers and finance departments of corporate clients and Financial Institutions across the globe, our universal expertise and global network allows us to offer truly integrated and effective solutions.Coverage teams provide clients with full access to the expertise of our Corporate bank. Our Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage focuses on offering treasury solutions to Institutional Clients such as large international Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Financial Sponsors, Market Infrastructure, Pension Plans and Sovereign Wealth.Deutsche Bank is looking for an experienced, Vice President level Coverage Banker to join its NBFI Coverage team in Sydney. In this capacity you will build strong working relationships across business divisions, focusing on Origination and Executive Client Relationship Management.As a Global Coverage Banker, you will be responsible for covering a portfolio of Non-Banking Financial Institutions. You will be first point of contact for the C-suite of your clients and become their trusted relationship manager, positioning Deutsche Bank as their preferred banking partner. Ability to construct strategic dialogues with the right contents to originate business opportunity, adding value to clients to support their business growth.Responsible for growing wallet share and generating significant revenue, recognizing revenue opportunities to cross-sell products for all areas of the bank.Drive results against client plans for revenue generation, franchise transactions, alignment with product partners and customer satisfaction.Ensuring in close cooperation with other NBFI Regional Relationship Management and product teams that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our client across different geographies and products are explored.Involve senior management in key client presentations to emphasize alignment with Deutsche Bank’s commitment to build the business.Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.Assisting NBFI Regional Heads to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as Identifying issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication.Provide market expertise to the global NBFI coverage team to maximize sector penetration and ensure opportunities are undertaken in an efficient manner.Provide guidance and help develop junior members of the team to accelerate their careers.Your skills and experience:Academic degree (MSc) preferably within Finance or Economics.8+ years of experience within the financial sector, with relevant coverage experience as a team lead covering a wide portfolio or an individual producer in a relationship management or product sales function in a global financial institution.Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance relationships with senior client contacts.
