Position Title: CBRN Instructor (Training Facilitator)
Location: Stennis, MS
Clearance level required: Secret
Objective
People Technology and Process Seeks CBRND Instructor to plan, schedule, execute and document CBRND training. The Contractor shall assist in training scheduled by Navy that develops CBRND capable operators to meet operational requirements identified in the Individual and Unit CBRND Readiness requirements.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited):

  • Provide CBRND support in two separate tasks: Program Management Support and Pre-Deployment Training: (Survive (L1), Proficiency (L2), and Operate (L3).
  • PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
  • Assist Government CBRND program representatives in scheduling, planning training events and developing training schedules.
  • Submit Reports.
  • Provide assistance to the Government for coordination of actions on CBRND training, equipment, and capabilities development as required.
  • PRE-DEPLOYMENT TRAINING.
  • Survive (L1). This course shall consist of proficiency and Individual Skill Sets (ISS) training and basic CBRND equipment employment. The course shall be designed to meet all Combatant Commander CBRND pre-deployment training requirements while enabling basic military proficiency under CBRN contamination conditions.
  • Maintain Government provided CBRN training curriculum.
  • Proficiency (L2). This course shall focus on the ability of designated elements to carry out specialized functions required to operate under CBRN conditions and the conduct of unit Level Mission Essential Tasks (MET) under CBRN conditions.
  • Operate (L3). This course shall consist of instruction and exercises designed to develop, challenge, and measure the ability of a NSW Task Group to operate under CBRN conditions and focus on the interoperability of specialty trained headquarters, maneuver, and operational elements.
Position Specific Knowledge and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in developing and executing military CBRN training programs and at least five years’ experience in developing and executing SOF training.
  • Shall have Navy Enlisted Code 9502 (Navy Instructor) or other service equivalent
  • Instructors shall have conducted at least three (3) CBRND training courses within the last year for Government agencies or military SOF.
  • Instructors shall be former SOF Operator(s) or EOD operator(s) with experience working within a special operations environment within the last ten years.
  • Instructors shall have at least 10 years’ technical/operational CBRND experience. Instructors shall be subject matter experts in CBRND concepts, practices, and procedures, to include Government and industry best practices in the following:
  • Minimum six (6) years military experience as a subject matter expert in CBRN, and no less than 4 years as a military or contracted instructor validated by a DoD or civilian-equivalent instructor training course completion certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Use of CBRN simulators. Experienced and trained in CBRN operations in a high IED threat environment. Able to instruct the full response to a CBRN incident from basic understanding and theory, to on scene actions and notifications, exclusion and downwind mitigations, personnel protective measures and equipment, field detection and identification, containment, decontamination, to chain of custody, reporting and follow-on actions.
  • Possess a Secret clearance.
  • Instructor resumes shall include specific positions/assignments that indicate an ability to manage and effectively lead personnel and elements during pre-deployment.
  • Instructor resumes shall include specific positions/assignments that indicate proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
