Job description

Central Coast Local Health District has a committed and valued Nursing and Midwifery Casual pool, and we are seeking quality, experienced Registered Midwives, who are committed to delivering excellence in patient care, whilst still maintaining a balanced and flexible work life, with a choice of shifts and locations across a 24/7 shift pattern.

This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.

About You

  • You have a current Registration or eligible for Registration as Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA.
  • You pride yourself on your ability to adapt to changing environments and innovative patient care and enjoy working in a variety of multi-disciplinary teams.
  • You have demonstrated ability to prioritise your work load and enjoy contributing to the success of the teams of you support.


Where you'll be working

The Registered Midwife provides safe, compassionate, person centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of maternity care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for women and their families.
