A family owned and operated vineyard in the Yarra Valley, we have been producing high quality wine for over 20 years.
As a result of the strong and sustained growth of our brand and vineyard, we are now seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our close-knit team.
The Opportunity:
Having worked in many of the top producing wine regions in the world, our Head Winemaker brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. This role represents an opportunity for you to learn from the best.
The Role:
- Assist in processing of grapes and wine production (processing 700+ tonne)
- Assist with bottling
- Take orders
- Operation of key winery equipment
- Vintage related tasks as directed by the Head Winemaker
- Assistance in Vineyard related tasks
- Perform various tasks as needed around the winery, including lifting, moving, and stacking materials
- Maintain cleanliness of winery equipment, tanks, and facilities, to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Your Key Attributes:
- 2+ years experience in a wine making environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive approach and positive attitude
- Dedicated and responsible
- Ability to work well as part of a team, however you are also able to take initiative when required.
- Good health and reasonable level of fitness
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing workloads and priorities
- Manual Drivers licence
- Forklift licence
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
