Keysborough Kindergarten is a not for profit, community based Kindergarten. It offers three and four year old kindergarten programs. We are a well established kindergarten that has been part of the Keysborough community for over 30 years . The kinder is operated by a parent-run Committee of Management who respect educators’ expertise and support their professional development.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Diploma Educator to join our team at Keysborough Kindergarten.

- 26.25 hours per week (21 contact hours, 5.25 non-contact hours)
- Monday 8:00am-4:15, Tuesday 8:00am-4:15, Wednesday 10:00am-1:00pm, Thursday 8:00am-4:15pm

- Enjoy the benefits of working in Sessional Kindergarten with paid school term breaks throughout the year, and annual leave over the Christmas / summer holidays. Working 40 weeks per your, paid for 52 weeks. The highest level of Diploma under the VECTEA award is 2.3 based on experience which is $27.68 per hour.
Job Role
We are seeking applicants for our mixed 3 & 4 year old group program. This position is for a part time Diploma Qualified Educator to join our ECT and diploma educator.
To be considered for the position you must
- Hold an approved Cert 3 or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood, WWCC, current first aid certificates
- Be able to support the teacher in planning and implementing the program, and be confident in taking observations of children's learning and development
- a strong understanding and the capacity to work with children with a diverse range of abilities
- A sound understanding of play-based pedagogy
- work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision,
- have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.
- Work in a professional manner at all times and ensure that the service meets the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law (National Law), Education and Care Services National Regulations (Regulations), relevant curriculum framework, the Quality Improvement Plan, and policies and procedures of the service
