EV contributes to the community through providing inclusive, accessible and affordable services, strengthening the service system to respond to community need, strengthening the business, employment and training sectors to meet future locally based needs supporting local economies and promoting volunteering for community connection and inclusion. EV provides individuals with the transport they need to participate and the skills, environment and competencies needed to successfully volunteer. EV also contributes to its Volunteering Support Services to emergency management outcomes at the local level through its management of volunteering workforces during emergencies, support with volunteer workforces through emergencies and support to those frontline agencies who are frontline responders.
With its vision of supporting local communities, EV will now extend its services to the Early Childhood sector as an Early Years Manager by sharing its vast experience and knowledge working with local communities over four decades. The CEO’s over twenty years’ senior executive experience in the Early Years, Child and Family sectors coupled with the GM’s prior experience managing an EYM of 21 kindergartens in the Shire of Yarra Ranges is an added advantage to the organisation.
The Department of Education recently approved the transfer of 3 kindergartens to EV EYM from January 2024.
