The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a part-time Certificate III Early Childhood Support Educator to work 15 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to become a permanent role.
It is essential that you have:
- Certificate III Early Childhood education or ACECQA approved and recognised equivalent or evidence of enrolment in the above qualification
- An approved child protection statement of attainment
- A good knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards, and requirements
- A sound understanding of Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Quality Standard
- A high level of proficiency in the English language, both in verbal and written form
- A current Working with Children Check
- A commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Integricare
You will need to demonstrate that you have a high level of expertise or experience in:
- Being a self-starter, with a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Implementing programs that are both group appropriate and can be individualised
- Child development and best practice in early learning
- Engaging effectively with fellow educators and families
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and communities
