The Centre
This charming, 30-place centre caters to children aged 6 weeks - 6 years located on the Central Coast in the suburb of Killarney Vale, just five minutes drive from The Entrance and Bateau Bay. With a focus on providing quality learning experiences, this early learning centre is seeking a passionate Certificate III Educator & Cook to join their team on a permanent basis. This service believes in supporting children's overall development and encompassing individuality in a nurturing environment through play-based learning and intentional teaching whilst ensuring meaningful relationships with children, and families are formed. Operating between the hours of 6.30am - 6.30pm, this centre offers flexibility, a long-standing team and a supportive, friendly work environment.
The Role
- Permanent role, part-time or full-time position available - two positions available for an educator and cook, or a candidate who would like to work in in both roles
- Collaborate with educators and provide quality learning opportunities for children in care
- A strong interest and prior knowledge in Early Childhood Education
- Support the centre to meet/exceed national quality standards
- Ability to create meaningful relationships with educators, children & families
- Meal planning and preparing food for children aged 0-6 years
- Providing age-appropriate meals that meet children's nutritional needs
- Educator shift times and days are flexible, Cook required Wednesday & Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm

About You
- A passion for children and working in the early years sector
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
- A current Working with Children's Check
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Knowledge of nutrition, allergies and meal planning for children aged 0-6 years
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
