The Centre

This unique 120 place service in Cromer is seeking a Certificate III or Diploma Educator to join their team. This purpose built service is located in the heart of the Northern Beaches and has large outdoor spaces and nature-themed indoor classrooms to provide children with environments to be provided with quality learning experiences.

The centre also has a large focus on the wellbeing of its educators, providing professional development from a supportive team of educators and an encouraging management team who is mindful of the team's individual and family needs. Scholarship opportunities are also available!

The service is located close-by to the nearest shops and is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am - 6:30pm.

The Role

As a Certificate III or Diploma Educator your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting and working alongside the Room Leader to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
• Communicating positively with the children and families
• Preparing, implementing and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program for individual children and groups
• Being reliable, respectful and working constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
• Ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
• Having sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About You

• A Certificate III or Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education and Care OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• A current Working With Children Check
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
