Form of workBrilliant Stars Early Learning Centre is a family owned small boutique service with a max of 32 children per day, educating and caring for children aged between 18 months – 5 years of age, across 2 classrooms.
The service is brand new and purpose built. We hold the "52 Virtues" as the core value of our philosophy, our culture and curriculum. We deeply believe all children are unique human-beings and it takes a community to raise our precious little ones together with love and respect.
As our little community is growing rapidly, we have opportunities for likeminded and experienced educators to join us at the beginning of our journey to create Brilliant Stars "family" together.
We are located in the leafy Moncrieff Street of Dickson, A.C.T. Only minutes’ walk from the bustling Dickson precinct and a street away from Daramalan College. Perfectly positioned within walking distance to the tramline as well as having free onsite parking.
Our team currently consists of our Approved Provider, Bachelor qualified Director and Early Childhood Teacher, with a combined 30+ years in education.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for Diploma or Cert III Qualified Educators (or studying towards) who has a passion for early childhood education; is experienced and a team player to co-create a respectful, calm, caring and holistic learning environment for children and their team.
We are also looking for a chef/cook who is experienced with catering for childcare centers with some dietary requirements. A working with vulnerable people card or willingness to obtain is a must. This is a part-time position 8:30-13:00 Monday to Friday, catering for up to 32 children. At the moment we have 17 children

You must have an open mindset, be solution focused, willing to continuously build upon your knowledge and actively collaborate on quality improvement practices across the service.
