Part-Time) Plus 17% Superannuation Based at Bentley Campus WA Job Reference: 1163146 About The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Centre Administrator to join the Curtin University Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence
Against Women (CEVAW). The main responsibility of the Node Administrator would be to coordinate and undertake general administrative activities that support the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the Node. The role requires the ability to be the main point of contact and handle all general support and administrative activities of the functional area.
The responsibilities may also include providing comprehensive personal assistance to senior staff. Some Key Responsibilities: Provide support for internal events by coordinating and managing tasks such as sourcing and booking venues, catering, suppliers, and promotional activities. Actively participate in CEVAW’s Node Administrator team and CEVAW Network, including liaising with CEVAW’s Chief Operating Officer.
Work closely with the University’s Travel Team to arrange and coordinate travel arrangements for staff and visitors, in accordance with the Travel Procedure. Ensure all travel details are accurate and reviewed appropriately. Liaise with relevant stakeholders and University functional areas such as Human Resources, Finance, Properties, and Corporate Relations, to ensure specific work is completed accordingly.
