Job Description
The Project
ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2, Sydney’s third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.
Project scope includes:
· Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction
· Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels
· Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway
In line with the above, ACCIONA is now looking for a COR Manager to join the Civil and Logistics Team at our main office in North Sydney, this role will be required to…
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
· Define and communicate clear roles and responsibilities within the organization.
· Establish and maintain an effective Chain of responsibility to ensure accountability at all levels.
· Monitor and enforce adherence to the established Chain of responsibility framework.
· Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to streamline workflows.
· Conduct regular reviews and updates to the Chain of responsibility structure based on organizational needs.
Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in managerial roles, particularly in defining and implementing chains of responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate teams.
  • In-depth understanding of organizational structures and workflows.
  • Analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the Chain of responsibility and make improvements.
  • Experience in conducting training and workshops related to Chain of responsibility and accountability.
