Address A loving family in Chapel Hill, QLD are seeking a calm and patient nanny to care for their 2 children (Ages 8 and 5yrs).
The days and normal hours are as follows..
Mon - Friday Before and After SchoolApprox 6.30/ 7.00am-9.30am & 2.30/3.00pm - 7.00pm
Note..Additional hours can be offered later in the evenings, at the weekends and school holidays if the nanny is available.
An ideal nanny will be kind, polite and caring. You will be firm and authoritative but also fair, patient, calm and conscientious. To be able to work with the children’s routines and assist the family in keeping the household running and teaching the children good values.
The role is ensuring that someone is there for the children to make sure that they get ready for school, breakfast etc, drop off and pick up from school, take to After School activities, engage with, have a break and then work on homework/basic numeracy and literacy and help prepare the evening meal.
The family is seeking a nanny that is safe and trustworthy, can commit long term and build a special bond with the children and the whole family.
Nanny must be comfortable with the parents at home.
The family also has a cavoodle dog. No attending required unless the nanny is happy to take the dog for a walk to the park with the kids.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
To supervise/care for the children
Follow the children’s routine morning and Afternoon
Help prep and cook meals for the children
Light household duties... ie keep main areas clean and tidy, children’s laundry, ironing when required, unstacking/stacking dishwasher.
Grocery shopping occasionally
Running errands occasionally
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
Childcare qualification preferred (Primary level)
Have a current first aid certificate (Experience with children with epilepsy will also be advantageous)
Have a current Blue Card
Display strong communication skills and speak excellent english.
Full Drivers Licence and clean driving record
Basic Cooking Skills
Able to Swim
Non Smoker
