Role Overview:

The Sydney Chapter of EO is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Chapter Manager to lead and manage the chapter's operations, member engagement, and growth initiatives. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and a passion for fostering entrepreneurial communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chapter operations management: Oversee the day to day operations of the Sydney chapter, ensuring alignment with EO's global standards and protocols.
  • Member engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance member experience, engagement and satisfaction. Foster a strong sense of community among members.
  • Event planning and execution: Work with the events manager to coordinate and manage a variety of chapter events, including learning sessions, networking events, and social gatherings. Ensure high quality experiences for all attendees.
  • Membership growth: Drive initiatives to attract and retain members. Work closely with the membership committee to identify and recruit new members who meet EO's criteria.
  • Financial management: Manage the chapter’s budget and financials. Ensure responsible allocation of resources and adherence to financial policies.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for chapter members, the EO global office, and external stakeholders. Maintain clear and effective communication channels.
  • Strategic planning: Collaborate with the chapter board to develop and implement strategic plans that align with EO’s mission and goals.
  • Administrative support: Provide administrative support to the chapter board and committees. Prepare reports, meeting agendas, and other documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably within a membership based organisation or the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organisational and project management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
    • Financial acumen and budget management experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

  • Flexibility to attend events outside regular business hours
