Job description

Great opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at Chop 'n Chill, Port Macquarie.

Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.

Key Requirements are:

  • Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude
  • Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
  • Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
  • Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
  • Job will require approx. 38 hrs per week.
  • Completed Trade Qualification
Qualifications required - Relevant AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed.

Permanent Full Time role with $70000- $75000 Salary (plus super).
