Ladybird Manor is a heritage building located in the heart of Adelaide CBD with a supportive team. We are seeking for a chef experienced in cooking for children who is able to cater for children with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking healthy meals for children aged from 4 months to 6 years. Meals including morning tea, lunch, afternoon and a late snack. You will have full autonomy to manage the kitchen while following the National Food Standards and our Food Safety Program.
Essential Criteria
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent skills and experience.
- Current approved qualification for Child Protection.
- Food Safety Training (or willing to obtain one).
- Meal planning training preferred but not essential.
- A working with children clearance is mandatory.
- High level of initiative.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- A caring person with a friendly, bright personality.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
