Organizing day-to-day operations in this busy kitchen. This is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide Fresh and classic meal experience to around 100 residents over Breakfast, lunch and dinner- plus handmade cakes for tea and special occasions.
- Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
- Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
- Assisting the broader team as required
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Must have your own vehicle and drivers licence- due to location
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
- Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
- Strong communication skills
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
