Your New Role

As a Chef you will provide care and support that enhances our resident's wellbeing, enabling them to live with dignity and empowerment.

You will enjoy working within our Better Together® social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location

What Your New Role Looks Like:

  • Preparing nutritious dinners and desserts to the highest standards
  • Managing stock levels, ensuring that ordering for the facility is done correctly and in line with budgets
  • Maintaining hygiene standards within the kitchen and adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Working with a friendly and supportive team of Food Service Assistants

About You

Above all, you will align to our Values of Bold, Warm, and Honest. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent care for your customers.

Does this sound like you?

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Available to work Part Time 4 days per week (+ additional days as required)
  • A Food Handling or Food Safety Certificate (HLTFSE001) or willingness to obtain one
  • A strong customer focus
  • Experience in a similar role within Aged Care or catering would be advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of special dietary requirements/modified meals beneficial
