Chef / Sous Chef – Ollies Bistro

Toronto Diggers has over 7,000 members and a busy restaurant trade. Ollie’s Bistro opens 7 days a week for lunch and dinner service. This is a solid, stable and busy catering operation.
Ollies Bistro at Toronto Diggers is looking for a Chef to add to our energetic team and to compliment our Busy & Fast paced Bistro Style Kitchen. You will be a person who is passionate about food, and prides themselves on delivering outstanding meals with exemplary service.
You will be a positive contributor to the menu design and will be required to be immersed in an a la carte style menu with traditional club favourites. We are looking for someone that can add some creativity and flair to our menus and daily specials.
The following attributes and experience would be considered advantageous:
- Previous experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bring fresh ideas for menu design.
- Passion for good food and creativity
- A knowledge of current food trends
- A knowledge and commitment to implementing food safety, WHS and hygiene practices.
- Good communication skills
- Trade qualified with experience and a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to work days, nights, weekends as required (rotating roster)
- A customer service focus
