Analytics Officer for Global Leisure, you will hold the most senior position
across Global Leisure’s data assets. Your primary responsibility is to lead
the practice across a range of disciplines (data science, engineering,
governance, data analysis and Power BI development) ensuring our data
assets are leveraged to drive informed decisions which lead to a growth in
sales and profits. This senior technology executive position requires
an experienced individual, with a previous proven track record as a
practitioner and ability to set strategic direction across data capabilities.

executive leaders, whilst leading technical teams in a dynamic travel
environment, please apply! Day to day: Lead, mentor, and provide effective oversight over the practices of Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analysis and Power BI
Report across Global Leisure Provide concrete recommendations focused on improving the capture of Customer Data across our Global Leisure Ecosystem whilst contributing to strategies to grow customers and increase profit per customer Proactively provide key strategic insights into customer behavioural patterns, and market trends to leaders within the leisure executive team, brands, and disciplines. Facilitate data driven decision-making to drive financial and operational performance Oversee the development and delivery of data capabilities and visualisations tailored to Global Leisure, ensuring comprehensive
ownership to maximise business benefits Provide key strategies to leverage artificial intelligence whilst educating our business leaders in advocating the responsible use of AI Adhere to budget, demonstrating return on investment and show strong financial acumen Work collaboratively with business and discipline leaders to determine how best to access data capability, provide direction on prioritisation Ensure effective leadership in place over data capabilities including dashboards, self-service tools, models and regular reports covering customer experience, service performance, sentiment and brand performance to support business decision making. Respond to major or critical issues and ensure the proper controls are kept in place to ensure business leaders and key stake holders are kept up to date Engage with the relevant PCIDSS and security teams to ensure our data is kept safe and secure You'll be perfect for the role if you have: 8 -10 years’ of proven practical experience in a data related field such as Power BI development, data engineering, data science Demonstrated track record with objective measures in using data capabilities to deliver value and insights Track record in using measurable frameworks such as OKRs as part of the wider Global Leisure product ecosystem Extensive experience and knowledge of data engineering, data science and Analytics technology and application Experience with travel agency, online travel distribution, and other internet-scale environments Experience using JIRA/Azure DevOps for agile planning, work management and roadmaps What you'll enjoy...
