About REROC
The Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (REROC) is a voluntary association of councils located in the eastern Riverina region of NSW that works closely together to achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness; not only in service delivery but also in their ability to represent the needs of their respective communities. The members of REROC are the councils of: Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Greater Hume, Junee, Lockhart, Temora and Goldenfields Water.
What we are looking for:
REROC is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who will report directly to the REROC Board, leading strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration, and advocating for the diverse interests of our communities.
The five broad areas that the CEO is tasked with are Managing the Organisation, promoting advocacy and leadership, intergovernmental collaboration, resource sharing activities and prioritisation and planning. At the same time you will ensure the exciting vision and priorities of the various strategies and plans of the Organisation are translated into positive outcomes for the member Councils and the region.
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced executive with a track record in multi-functional organisations and strategic leadership, particularly within the local government sector. You should demonstrate a strong ability to navigate political environments, build partnerships, and drive sustainable outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of local communities, drive meaningful change, and contribute to the development of the Riverina Eastern region.
