About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief People and Strategy Officer (CPSO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal role is responsible for leading and integrating our People & workforce management, strategic planning, marketing, change & communications functions. The CPSO will drive strategic initiatives that align with our mission, vision, and values, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement to lead our transformation agenda with sustainable results.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this position you will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior People & Culture or strategic leadership role, preferably within the aged care, community care or healthcare sector (desirable).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
  • Significant experience leading organisational transformation projects and associated change management and communication activities. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading organisational strategy development, business planning activities and organisational development initiatives.
  • Significant experience leading the design and implementation of learning & capability programs and best practice HR technology infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, employment legislation and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience leading brand, marketing and communications activities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to build trust, credibility and rapport at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
  • Current GAICD membership or working towards (desirable).
