Who are we?

At Mind Connect Psychology, we pride ourselves on fostering an incredible team culture where collaboration, support, and growth thrive. As an established and well regarded mental health clinic in Kogarah, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to children, adolescents, and families. Our modern, spacious and welcoming office is located in the heart of Kogarah, with public transport, shops, cafes and restaurants at our doorstep. We have established a strong referral base within the St George and Sutherland area and have built and fostered trusted relationships with our local GP’s, Schools and allied health providers. We are an NDIS registered, neuro-affirming practice that focuses on inclusive practices and prioritises work/life balance.

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team.

A day at Mind Connect Psychology would involve:

  • Collaborating effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in your client’s care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of client progress and treatment outcomes, including communication with referrers and reports

You will need:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a private practice, community, health or educational setting.
  • Strong psychological assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Proficiency in administering cognitive, learning and behavioural assessments e.g., WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, ADOS, ADI-R, Conners. This is preferred but not essential.

  • Online clinical management software (Halaxy) which streamlines the client and clinician experience ensuring your time is spent with your client, not drowning in admin!
  • Opportunity to build your caseload over time - Prioritising the client profile you love working with.
  • Offices which are equipped with extensive resources to support Child and Adolescent therapy e.g., sand trays, creative art materials, relationship building and therapeutic games.
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture driven by our core values - we celebrate life's moments as a team and love cake and coffee!
  • Access to a professional development budget to support the development of your clinical skills.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and families in our local community.
