Child Care Cook | Food Coordinator - Palmerston

We are looking for a Cook to work 60 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday) at our Palmerston service. This is a Permanent Part Time position with no late nights or weekend work! We are also able to offer flexible weekly hour and start/finish times.

About the Opportunity

The Food Coordinator will provide healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for children and is also required to maintain the kitchen/dining environment in line with Health Regulations.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Food Handling and Hygiene certified course
• SITSS00069 Food Safety Supervision Skill Set or willing to obtain
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Knowledge of food safe requirements
• Knowledge of special dietary considerations
• Experience in menu planning and provision ordering
• Ability to work well on own and within a team environment
