Emali Early Learning Centres, South Australia's leading group of Early Learning Centres, is currently looking for an experienced cleaner. The applicant must be highly motivated, experienced and enjoy working around children.
Work is from Monday to Friday, between 3.00pm and 7.30pm.

Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning
- Cleaning all areas, including infants' room, toddler room, pre-school room, meeting room, staff room, office, toilets and kitchen
- Daily cleaning will include, but is not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, dusting, polishing, wiping cupboards, cleaning toilets, bathrooms, sinks, doorknobs, and basins, cleaning windows and windowsills, and general upkeep of the Service.
- Daily disposal of rubbish from classrooms, office, staff room, kitchen and bathrooms
- Removal of cobwebs and graffiti as needed
Work, Health and Safety
- Take reasonable care for own health and safety
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Comply with instructions from the employer to carry out required cleaning tasks
- Comply with related Service policies and procedures
- Seek to identify, prevent and report potential hazards and risks
- Attend Work Health and Safety training
- Report incidents and safety concerns to management
- Maintain the 'cleaning cupboard' in an organised and secure state
- Ensure appropriate and up-to-date Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals are used
The following qualifications are ESSENTIAL:
- Current and successful Working With Children Certificate (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Child Safe Environments Training (RAN) Certificate (or able to undertake)
- Able to work 25 hours per week
