- A Certificate 3 qualified Educator to work alongside our existing Team to provide care and education for our children, ranging from Birth to 5 years of age.
- A qualified Afternoon Educator to work from 2pm to 5pm/6pm Mon-Fri
Please note: These positions are paid Casual for the first 12 months, with a view to permanent-part time thereafter, if desired by the successful applicant/s.

It is essential to both of these roles that you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive, respectful relationships with colleagues, our children and our families.
CERTIFICATE 3 EDUCATOR and AFTERNOON EDUCATOR ROLES
We require a Certificate 3 qualified Educator to work alongside our existing Team daily to provide care and education for our children, ranging from Birth to 5 years of age. As we offer our Team the opportunity to change rooms each year, we are looking for an Educator who is happy to work in any age group. The successful applicant will be available to work any shifts that may start/finish during the Centre's opening hours of Monday to Friday, 6am-6pm (excluding Public Holidays).
The Afternoon Educator is required to work from 2pm onwards, helping our afternoon staffing so that our morning Educators are able to leave on time.
The successful applicants will be motivated, enthusiastic and friendly, and willing to build positive relationships with our children, families and Team. Flexibility is key for the abovementioned positions, as Educators are required to work according to the needs of the Centre, e.g changing rooms due to staff absence, covering Programming, assisting colleagues as and where needed etc.
All Educators across our Team, whether Relief Educators or Activity Room Educators are included and respected as full members of our team, and are invited to attend all training, meetings and social events with colleagues.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should:
- be Certificate 3 qualified, or nearing completion of their studies.
- be available for shifts that start or finish between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)
- have their own transport (not rely on public transport due to shift times and our legal obligation to remain compliant with staff to child ratios at all times)
- have a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, or be willing to learn with the mentoring and support of our Team
- be able to follow directions, and work under the guidance of the Centre Management Team (Director, Assistant Director, Centre Manager, Educational Leader)
- be willing to work to the National Quality Standards
- possess a sound level of computer skills (or be willing to learn), as we use the web-based program Storypark for our documentation
- be able to work as part of a professional, dedicated and caring Team
- be willing to join an established Team of professionals who take their job seriously, but who know how to have fun
- be active, honest, reliable and flexible
- hold a current Blue Card
- hold current First Aid/A&A/CPR Certificates or be willing to obtain accordingly
