Connect Children and Families (Connect) is a not-for-profit organisation serving communities in the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury, and Western Sydney.
Together we support children's and families' learning, safety, and wellbeing.
We do this through supporting families to access services that respond to their needs, creating pathways both across our services, and to other community agencies that can support them.
Our services are available to children and families in their homes, in early childhood education centers and pre-schools, in community spaces and schools, and other family-centered services.
As part of our portfolio, Hazelwood Early Childhood Centre has a strong reputation for their commitment to partnering with families, recognising the privilege it is to be trusted with the education and care of a family’s greatest treasure, their children. Hazelwood is located in Hazelbrook town center, only a 30-minute drive from Penrith. Our centers are surrounded by the beautiful Blue Mountains scenery while still being close enough to the city.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Cook to join our team. • Implement strategies to prevent cross-contamination and ensure that allergen-free meals are prepared and served safely.
• Stay updated on current food allergy trends and best practices, and incorporate this knowledge into meal planning and preparation.
