JOB DESCRIPTION

M.A.P WA is currently recruiting for a Logistics Supervisor with experience in the food manufacturing industry to join our team on a Full-time basis, with some flexibility in hours required. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role will see you focusing on delivering key targets for the area to which you are assigned responsibility.  Your activities will see you:

  • lead the shift operations team to achieve business targets and ensure operations are within standards, having regard for safety, environment, quality and costs
  • provide direct supervision of the operational activities and pursuit of business improvements
  • supervising receipt of goods, stock rotation and dispatch, including completing relevant paperwork
  • coaching and training of cold store staff
  • drive a high performance culture
  • engage the team to maximise both individual and team outputs through active supervision principles
  • complete ad hoc duties as tasked

Please also note that weekend work on a roster basis will be required and paid additionally. 

JOB CRITERIA

 To be successful in this role, you will possess: 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Certification in Warehouse Operations, desirable
  • A valid and current High Risk Forklift Licence
  • A proven ability to supervise, communicate and interact with a multicultural team 
  • A highly organised and structured approach to tasks
  • Solid interpersonal skills, including effective upward and sideways communication skills
  • A high level of initiative, and proactive-ness
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Australian Work Rights
