About the role
WesTrac is seeking an engaging leader to join our Construction Industries team based from Casula. Reporting to the General Manager - Construction Industries this role will provide leadership to a medium sized team of sales and business development professionals and is accountable for developing and delivering aftermarket strategies to a broad customer base with a focus on growing market share.
The successful applicant will leverage multiple data sources to deliver continuous improvement initiatives and enhance WesTrac's customer value offering. In addition to coaching and developing your team, you will conduct regular reporting to measure the performance of the team against WesTrac's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the Aftermarket Sales Team including communicating departmental objectives, setting clear KPI's and continuous performance management
Build and maintain successful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing opportunity identification
Remain informed of current industry and market trends to ensure WesTrac's offering aligns with the vision of being the our customers first choice in equipment solutions
Measure performance against KPI's and budgets
Liaise with Caterpillar and interdepartmentally to deliver the Aftermarket Sales Strategy
Assume overall accountability for growing WesTrac's market share in aftermarket construction
Skills & Experience
Strong sales experience coupled with leadership experience within the construction, mining or earthmoving industry or similar
Advanced communication, negotiation, decision making and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to execute sales growth strategies in a large organisation
Excellence customer service skills with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite)
Ability to analyse data and compile reports
Experience with CRM and lead generation systems
