We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Civil Engineer in our SEQ Track and Civil Engineering team. This role is primarily responsible for providing technical engineering advice to a variety of external and internal clients to assist in providing engineering solutions across Queensland.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working autonomously to provide engineering technical services to achieve objectives against specific KPIs, budgets and timeframes.
- Provide engineering support on a variety of track & civil engineering projects.
- Assist to manage projects, consultants, and contracts to assist in the delivery of safe, timely and commercially sound engineering solutions.
We are seeking interest from people who have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in providing engineering design and technical support. Experience providing this support in a rail environment is a highly regarded.
- A substantial level of skill in providing civil engineering support. Drainage and stormwater experience is advantageous.
- Proven ability in relationship management including negotiating critical outcomes, problem solving and networking with and influencing key stakeholders.
- A high level and understanding of prioritisation at business, team, and personal levels.
- A commitment to a value-engineering approach.
- Applicants with associated skills in related areas e.g., geotechnical investigations including interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis, and making recommendations will be highly regarded.
This is a PT3 level Civil Engineering role. Graduate Engineers are encouraged to apply.
