About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our South East Queensland team. As the Site Engineer you will be assisting the Director, Project Manager & Site team to plan and successful deliver a variety of projects on time & on budget while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. Your key responsibilities will be, but not limited to the following:
- General support to the construction project teams to ensure a high standard of safety, quality, schedule and costs is maintained;
- Planning and scheduling of works to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all work activities.
- Procurement of materials and onboarding of subcontractors for each of the projects.
- Coordination and management of project verification and conformance services such as Soil & Concrete testers, Surveyors and RPEQ Engineers.
- Facilitation of key stakeholders to inspect and verify works such as Client representatives, Project Verifiers and Utility Inspectors.
- Development, coordination and submission of QA for projects.
Within this role you will be an integral part of the Team that will be given the opportunity to build & grow the business as well as supporting the Director, Project Manager, Site Supervisors & teams.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have worked on Civil Construction projects previously as a Site Engineer, who has the following experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, across the Civil Construction sector
- Strong Management & Leadership Skills to plan & organise jobs
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- Certificate in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management
- Attention to detail.
- Efficient in QA & Document Control
- Advanced skills with Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality & privacy at all times
- High commitment to Quality, Safety & Environmental practices
- Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence
- Hold a Construction White Card
