As a Civil Hydropower Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of hydropower infrastructure, contributing to the generation of clean and renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement civil engineering solutions for hydropower projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the viability of new hydropower developments, considering geological, hydrological, and environmental factors.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for civil works associated with hydropower facilities, including dams, penstocks, spillways, and powerhouse structures.
• Provide technical oversight and support during construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
• Perform inspections and assessments of existing hydropower infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimization, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in Hydropower Engineering, contributing to the continuous improvement of our client's operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a focus on hydropower or water resources engineering. Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or eligibility for registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in hydropower project delivery.
• Strong technical proficiency in hydraulics, structural analysis, and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrological modeling tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
