Civil Labourer - Local Government

Your responsibilities will include tasks such as laying asphalt, pouring concrete, installing pipes, and grading roads. You'll also have the chance to operate a variety of machinery. $33.18 hourly rate + Super
Early starts and finishes (6.00am to 3.30pm)
Monday to Friday
Paget Location - Work Close to home!
Work Life Balance with a 9 Day Fortnight
Casual ongoing, full time hourly basis

A Day in The Life Your day to day will involve the following tasks and responsibilities:
Operate a wide array of equipment and light mechanical plant.
Undertake labouring tasks associated with maintenance and construction of roads, drainage and other civil infrastructure including earthworks, concrete, pipelaying, bitumen and vegetation work.
Maintenance of work site and machinery.
Provide competent traffic management. This involves controlling and directing traffic through and around work sites.
The Ideal Candidate
White Card - essential
Class C Licence - essential
MR Licence highly desirable
Current Traffic Controllers Ticket (or willing to obtain within 3 months of commencement)
Competent operation of small ride-on equipment and light mechanical plant
Demonstrated experience in road construction and maintenance
