Civil Labourer/Trades Assistant

Commlec Services Pty Ltd is a solutions based Electrical and Communications Contractor, specialising in Sportsground and Public Lighting, based in Mount Waverley, Melbourne. Priding ourselves on our customer service, we service a wide range of council municipalities and the private sector all over Melbourne and Victoria.

Due to a period of growth we are currently seeking Civil Labourers/Trades Assistants to work in our Civil Department on projects in the commercial, recreation and council sectors. You will work as part of a civil team on jobs such as trenching, underground conduit and pit installation, concreting and site reinstatement.

About you 

Previous experience as a Civil Labourer/Trades Assistant is highly regarded. 

• OH&S White card.
• Punctual self-motivated and able to take direction.
• Physically fit.
• Able to work without supervision.
• Willing and keen to learn new skills with training available to determined applicants.
• Able to follow OH&S processes and fill out appropriate paperwork

Some of the daily duties we conduct:

• Preparing of Trenches
• Conduit and Electrical cable laying
• Cable hauling
• Minor Concreting
• Installation of Pillars and Light Pole Footings
• Site Reinstatement.
