The Position This position will be accountable for the construction of watermains and wastewater mains and their associated infrastructure. Additional accountabilities will include maintenance, (preventative and corrective) on both our water and wastewater networks, along with general plumbing as required.
Working 38 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO

TAFE Certificate in Sewer/Water Construction or Plumbing/Draining and/or extensive relevant experience
Class C (Standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
Construction Induction Card
Confined Spaces Certificate (compulsory to have and maintain)
Relevant experience in civil related water and sewer construction and repair
Tasks & responsibilities
Construct and repair watermains, sewer mains, new water services, and house drains
Water meter maintenance and replacement
Manhole, pump station maintenance & construction
To work in confined spaces as directed
Complete relevant paperwork required for the Networks section
General Plumbing installation and maintenance
Hours Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
