We are seeking a friendly and skilled Civil Engineer/Estimator (All levels welcome to apply) to join our team at KHP CIVIL, specializing in Sydney Water major and minor works. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and estimating, with a focus on projects related to Sydney Water infrastructure and other civil excavtions projects.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience in Civil Engineering or Sydney Water related works.
- Proven experience in estimating and executing civil engineering projects, with a focus on Sydney Water works.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Knowledge of Sydney Water regulations and guidelines is highly desirable.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for Sydney Water major and minor works projects
- Prepare accurate estimates for small Civil Excavation Projects up to $1m
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and schedule.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for estimating and project planning.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate project requirements and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in all project activities.
