Civil / Structural Project Engineer

We have partnered with a Tier-1 asset owner to source a talented Civil Project Engineer for their site-based project management team.

In this client-side role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Supervisors/Superintendent to plan and execute civilinfrastructure portfolio in the approved pipeline for a remote mine site in Queensland.

Accountabilities:

• Driving and coordinating civil infrastructureprojects from an engineering, cost, schedule, and quality perspective 
• Detailed daily tracking of plant utilisation, production, costs, etc.
• Management of project quality assurance
• Manage engineering partners through concept and detailed design phase, including document reviews, organising design reviews, responding to technical requests, andliaising with stakeholders
• Support construction teams by providing technical guidance in the field during execution activities 
• Engage and foster relationshipswith internal (projects, operations, maintenance) and external (design consultants, construction contractors) stakeholder groups

About You:

• Relevant experience in on-site engineeringin the civil, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Tertiary qualifications within civil or construction engineering
• Civil infrastructure, concrete and drainage project delivery experience is seen as a key to success in this role is seen as highly advantageous
• Civil infrastructurecontractor background is highly desirable
• Understanding or experience with SAP
