Waratah-Wynyard Council have an exciting opportunity available for a Civil Work Employee to support our growing municipality.

The Opportunity

Based in Wynyard the Civil Works Employee will contribute to the operations, maintenance and construction of the civil assets of Council’s infrastructure in accordance with Council’s Contract Service Levels and Project Plans.

About the Position

We have a full-time Civil Works position (76 hours per fortnight) and a part-time Plant Operator position (38 hours per fortnight). 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience and skills in Civil Construction.
  • A great work ethic and be a motivated team player.
  • A positive attitude towards safety.

As a minimum, you will have a MR truck licence however it is desirable to have HR, HC or plant qualifications.
