We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Claims Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our claims teams across a range of administrative activities, learn new skills and have the opportunity to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Based in our Darwin office, this role is pivotal to contributing to Gallagher Bassett's commitment to injured workers and insured clients.

How you'll make an impact

  • Liaising with case managers for invoice approval process;
  • Processing of invoices to the claims system;
  • Answering telephone calls and offering first call resolution to GB customers and providers;
  • Managing shared inboxes and replying to email communication;
  • Other general administrative tasks as required.

About you

  • Previous experience in an administrative role and/or demonstrated experience in undertaking administrative duties in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation and with a varied set of stakeholders;
  • Enthusiastic, with a strong sense of team and collaboration;
  • A resilient attitude.
