The role of the Claims Consultant works closely with our customers to support them when the unexpected happens, working with the insurer to ensure that the claims process goes as smoothly as possible.
About you
- You have experience in claims management specifically in sickness, injury or life.
- Insurance qualifications or tertiary qualifications in allied health of business are desirable.
- Knowledge on medical terminology is desirable
- You have excellent communication skills and are confident relating to customers.
- You love providing great customer service and assisting others.
- You build strong relationships with others and recognise that this gets things done.
- You understand that different customers have different needs and prioritise accordingly.
- You want to learn in a growing, diverse organisation where full training is provided.
- You’re comfortable with computers and learning new systems
About the role
Ensure customer expectations are exceeded and business objectives are met.
- Providing a superior level of customer service by focusing on delivering solutions that meet customer needs and expectations as well as meet Coverforce business objectives.
- Developing pro-active case management strategies tailored to the needs of individual claimants that facilitate.
- Assisting with early return to work.
- Effective cost management
- Working within Coverforce policy procedures and guidelines
