The Plan ManagementClaims Officer is responsible for the management of finance tasks that ensure NDIS participants' funds are processed accurately and effectively.  This role requires attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The main tasks and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Trouble shooting issues identified with payments
  • Responding to queries from providers and sometimes participants, regarding invoicing and payment requests, via phone, email or face to face.
  • Safeguarding payments and claims, adhering to the NDIA and other related legislation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of claims
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of general finance administration, including reconciliations, creditor and debtor payments and invoicing.  Strong attention to detail, time management and the ability to adapt to a challenging and evolving NDIS environment are essential.
