The picturesque town is halfway between the busy cities of Mandurah and Bunbury.

The Opportunity

Harvey Beef is seeking a Cleaning and Sanitation Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the site's cleaning, upkeep, and sanitation while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety regulations. This is a great opportunity for career growth in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Cleaning and Sanitation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Always support and operate according to the company values, ensuring our high standards of safety and quality are maintained
• Efficient management of the cleaning, upkeep, and sanitation for the site across a 7-day per week, 24-hour operation
• Maintain the health and safety of team members by ensuring that all processes are risk-assessed and that appropriate training programs are managed and enforced
• Responsible for supervising all external and internal hygiene, pest control, and contract cleaning
• Manage and Supervise people (team leaders and team members)
• Driving the performance in the department (KPIs)
• Maintain a general overview of site operations
• Weekly and Monthly analysis of costs, taking corrective actions as appropriate to ensure operations remain within budget
• Maintain and improve plant environment whilst consistently adhering to company and legislative health and safety policies, practices, licenses, and procedures
• Plant hygiene, sanitation, upkeep, and regulatory requirements are met in relation to food safety, quality management, environment, and any other relevant requirements
• Coordinate with the Operations/Technical/Safety and Training manager to ensure that all training is appropriate and meets compliance with company policy, procedures and guidelines

Selection Criteria

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of Cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software (may be required)
