Hurex is a leading labour hire and cleaning services provider in Australia. We seek a contractor to take responsibility for the daily cleanliness of our site in Girraween, Sydney. The site is a food processing factory, so specialised detailed hygiene cleaning is required each day Monday-Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. The successful applicant must have experience in hygiene cleaning in the food processing industry, an understanding of using cleaning chemicals, and must have a small team of cleaners (no students), as the site is large in area. As supervisor, you MUST DIRECTLY BE INVOLVED IN CLEANING, and not just oversee the cleaning, and must manage your cleaners to ensure that a high standard is reached. You will need to have an ABN, Public Liability and Workers Comp Insurance to be a contractor.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Cleaning floors and corridors
- Cleaning large scale cheese processing machinery
- Cleaning change rooms, toilets, lunch rooms, all amenities
- Plus any additional areas of the factory that you may be asked to clean from time to time
About you:
- You (as well as any cleaner you bring on board) must have full working rights in Australia.
- Must have hygiene cleaning experience in a food processing factory. We would like to see photos of previous work.
- Must have good English language skill
- Must current Australian driver's licence
