We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cleaning Supervisor to provide and monitor cleaning services for one of our commercial sites in Melbourne CBD.
You will be responsible to maintain a healthy and appropriate environment to minimise the infection risk to the community it serves.
Here is a snapshot of your day:
- Daily visual inspection of the site ensuring cleaning standards are achieved. Conduct internal cleaning audits, follow up with rectifications and advise staff of audit processes and outcomes.
- Manage and ensure rosters are current, ensure roster absenteeism is managed efficiently each day providing cleaning staff to all areas in accordance with sites labour budgets.
- Ensure all Cleaning schedules are completed and signed off in a timely manner.
- Conduct tool box talks and other training/coaching needs as required.
- Apply, enforce, and monitor compliance to client's HS&E policies associated with the contract.
- Identify safety and environmental hazards and follow through to control hazards and escalate as required and ensure appropriate resources are applied to achieve safety objectives.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to standard, report any equipment break downs and issues as necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines
- Thorough understanding and commitment to cleaning and infection control requirements in a hospital environment
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
