About the role
We are looking for someone who is not only a superhero behind the wheel, but who is also great at understanding people, building relationships and creating an experience for our clients. As a Driver you will ensure our clients are transported to their required destination in a safe and comfortable manner.
What will this look like on a day to day basis?
You will be:
- Driving clients to appointments and an assortment of destinations whilst maintaining exceptional customer service at all times
- Transporting our clients to exciting locations as part of our regular Comlink Australia events calendar
- Always maintaining a professional relationship, while demonstrating genuine care for our clients
- Delivering additional services to our clients such as shop assistance and other social support
- Keeping accurate records, including completing daily vehicle inspections;
- Reading schedules and run sheets
- Liaising with schedulers and office personnel
- Reporting back to the office if a client's needs have changed
- Calling clients to confirm pick up and drop off times and locations
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness to a superior standard at all times
Other things you might like to know
- Part-time position available, 60hrs per fortnight
- Paid compliance checks including NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check and a QLD Restricted Driver's Authority
What skills and experience do you need to be a Client Driver?
This position is best suited to someone who has:
- Holds a current open Queensland Driver's Licence
- Has outstanding customer service skills and a love of interacting with clients
- Is highly organised, punctual, efficient and can manage their time well
- Has excellent knowledge of the local area
- Has exceptional driving skills and proven record of safety
- Is resilient, patient and is calm under pressure
- Understanding of, and willingness to develop an appreciation of, specialised service delivery within diverse groups, specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, Veterans, Disability, Mental Health, LGBTI+ and Homelessness
