Hays is current recruiting multiple Client Safeguarding Advisors to join a leading not-for-profit organisation. This role is suited to an experienced investigator or auditors or those with exposure to reportable incidents in NDIS. You will be responsible for coordinating the customer incident management process and identification of continuous improvement and learning initiatives related to the safeguarding of our clients.
Your new role
You will be responsible for coordinating the customer incident management process and identification of continuous improvement and learning initiatives related to the safeguarding of clients.
Duties include:
- Manage investigations into significant incidents that impact clients and make recommendations for practice improvement, support complex case management and the feedback management process.
- Collaborate with clients, guardians, Service Delivery and the organisation more broadly to safeguard and improve outcomes for people with disability.
- Advocate contemporary best practice, policies and processes to manage incident investigations and Client Safeguarding by identifying the contributing factors and root causes of 'client harm' to plan and progress improvements to service delivery.
- Monitor and analyse customer safeguarding data across the organisation, identifying key organisational risks, trends and areas for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations.
- Cert IV in investigations/similar qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving to successfully identify key risks with a solutions-based focus.
- Excellent communications skills, including verbal, documentation and reporting
- Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively manage complex teams involved in case review.
- Experience in Human Services, health sector or investigations
- Understanding of NDIS standards and practices.
