You will lead a team of dedicated Bookkeepers and Accountants, supporting their continual development of your team, along with ongoing innvoation and delivery of best practices. Delivering quality services to achieve client satisfaction and growth is paramount to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities;
- Overall responsibility for the delivery of agreed services to our clients, timely and effectively. , which range from accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow. This includes reporting, commentary and any other relevant related practices.
- Participate in client onboarding and work with business development team to provide a complete 360-degree view of client’s business.
- Ensuring that all clients under your scope are serviced with excellence, are profitable, and are satisfied with our deliverables.
- Lead and manage effective financial controls and systems with associated procedures and processes, such as bank reconciliations, debtor & credit reconciliation, general ledger management, month and year end processes, payroll associated analysis and budgets.
- If clients in your portfolio are contracted to do so, lead the monthly/quarterly financial reviews with your clients and be the trusted advisor with regard to their financial performance, providing advice, support and guidance to them.
- Lead the monitoring, production and management of financial key performance indicators and key business drivers for assigned clients that drive business outcomes.
- Actively lead your team to deliver the day-to-day management of bookkeeping and accounting practices, consistently supporting development and growth. Providing timely feedback
to support operational excellence and active involvement in team performance processes such as appraisals. - Continually develop and improve documented procedures, operational policies, security protocols and best practices for clients and WPS.
- Look for opportunities to increase revenue by increasing services to clients through building lasting relationships and presenting business growth opportunities.
- Uphold the statutory accounting acts, regulations and statutes.
- Promote and model the value of self-improvement and be proactive in seeking and undertaking opportunities for growth.
