About the Role:
Anglicare Tasmania’s Acquired Injury Support Service provides comprehensive, client focused support to people living with an acquired injury in a variety of settings around Tasmania. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional support tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Client Support Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and delivering support services to our clients around the state. While previous experience in disability, health or aged care support is advantageous, we are primarily looking for candidates who bring service delivery, customer service and continuous improvement skills and demonstrate the right attitude to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including clients and their families;
Support the development and implementation of support plans based on needs assessments;
Provide oversight and feedback to Support Workers;
Manage client rosters to meet support needs;
Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently including reviewing financial data;
Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery;
Respond promptly to client and funder inquiries;
Assist in resolving client concerns or issues.

The successful applicant will be required to:
provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check if you are applying for the 1st time or have renewed your registration since 1st February 2021;
present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical:
provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.
On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
