The Care Designer (Registered Nurse) position is a key role in our management team, the successful candidate will help build a team, grow brand awareness, provide clinical direction and goverance and importantly enjoy coming to work each day and genuinely want to make a difference in the community!
The primary aim of this role is to ensure that our clients are safe and happy in their own homes and lead a team of caregivers who love what they do.

Your Next Adventure
Operating in a home care environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our clients are safe and happy in their own homes. You'll liaise with potential clients, set up individualised care plans to meet their unique needs and build professional relationships in the health industry.

Reporting to our Managing Director, your role will be a combination of front-line clinical nursing work, management and development of our growing team of nurses and caregivers. This includes but will not be limited to, the following:
- Design tailored and meaningful client care plans that foster positive relationships between our clients and the Care Team.
- Meet with potential clients in their home to consult on their options for premium home care services.
- Conduct Nursing and where required caring duties part time.
- Oversee client Clinical Care and maintain meticulous care documentation records.
- Report writing, ensure up to date records are reviewed and maintained.
- Conduct supervisory visits and ensure care team have appropriate skills and training to provide care.
- Be accountable for maintaining the high clinical standards set by Nurse Next Door.
- Assist in the management and development of a growing team of caregivers and nurses.
- Build relationships with Support Coordinator's and hospital discharge administrators

- Current Drivers Licence & reliable car
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years post registration experience
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Strong written and verbal English skills. Other languages an asset.
- Technically savvy with mobile apps and G-suite
- NDIS Worker Screener Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- Previous home care nursing experience an asset
- Wound care experience is an asset
